Kamaka HF-2 Solid Koa Concert Ukulele 2003
Kamaka HF-2 Solid Koa (2003) Concert Ukulele
The rich sounding Kamaka HF-2 is handmade in Oahu, Hawaii and shows the same superb craftsmanship that we have grown to expect from the prestigious Kamaka brand. It has a solid koa top, back and sides, with high gloss finish, a beautiful rosewood fingerboard and bridge, with the pearl Kamaka ‘double k’ logo on the headstock and friction peg tuners with pearloid buttons. The Kamaka Concert has 12 frets to the body and 16 frets overall and is a top quality instrument with a great full sound.
This stunning Kamaka HF-2 ukulele made in 2003 is in absolute mint, almost perfect condition. There are no visible signs of any cracks, scratches or scuffs. It is currently strung with Nylgut tenor strings, with standard G, C, E, A tuning, so it plays as a true alto, a third below a soprano uke, however if you want to play it at soprano pitch, simply restring with thinner soprano strings. The only flaw is a very insignificant small tear on the outside cover of the included hard-shell case (see photo below).
